KAYU&CO.
At Kayu&Co., Kayu stands for wood and Co. stands for community, we believe in
community and social impact. Our goal is to uplift the remote artisans’ community
who are handcrafting natural products as means to preserve their culture and
nature. However, they cannot sustain their livelihood by only selling locally in their
villages. Thus, our mission is to let the world appreciate and purchase these
beautiful artisanal products from remote areas of the globe.
Sustainable and ethical is in our DNA, the way we do business. From designing the products in Australia, choosing our artisan communities in Indonesia and sending the products across the world. We always think how can we help our customers to make positive impact to environment and the society.
Circular economy – when we carefully curated our product range in Australia, we think about the nature of circularity. Recycle and upcycle – nothing goes to waste
We utilise waste of wood and coconut fibre that would otherwise end up in landfill or burnt in the powerhouse.

This is her mantra and one of the principles that guides everything at Kayu&Co. She believes equality should be for all, no matter who we are and where we live, we should always help each other. She founded Kayu&Co. in 2021 with a hope that she can help remote artisans’ communities in preserving their cultural heritage and nature.
